Block trade - payment in shares

They took 19 million shares that weren't on the market so they weren't affecting daily trades.  Then they issued 15 million shares in Liou of cash or debt and it's my belief that the company that got these shares is making a tidy 10 percent profit on the over sale liquidating these shares on average.    

  Just an idea.  I could be wrong.

WCP bought back 19M shares at $6.30 or something price and issued 15M to the company they bought the oil reserves at about $ 7.50 which was a smart move. Now if these monkeys sold today part of these shares , we are in for a very long suppression of the stock. That is perhaps the sp is stalling and going nowhere. That is why I am against these kind of deals. Similar deal made the CPG co when they ...more

I have to agree that long term of oil stays high the purchase looks good , but these deals take time and don't add instant gratification like using that money for a extra divvy or a dividend increase.        We bought the block at 6.95 per share.  Just a guess and we will never know the seller but possibly from another deal previous where shares were used.  Then ...more
