Remember the NEP

Justin's father tried to implement a very unfavorable and politically driven NEP, remember how that worked for him, and what it did to Alberta. Any windfall tax should be looked at as an immediate call to oust the existing government here in Canada. What astounds me, is the US looking for oil from Venezuela and Iran. While they systematically attack the ethical and political friendly suppy of Canadian energy business by denying pipelines. US lobbyist and ecoterrorists groups are funded by US energy interests that wish only to protect their own. I am so tired of the PR efforts of southern interests that attack Canadian energy. Green energy and electric cars are great. But who will build the infrastructure, where does the electricity come from, and how will the road repairs be paid for, gasoline drivers pay a road tax, EV drivers do not, yet they share the roads..unfair? My morning rant.

Good point pinecone 11, I didnt know near enough about the NEP so researched it and read up.  Interesting times thats for sure.  Thanks for the reminder of those times and no one should underestimate Justin and what he's capable of.  I would bet the farm he's already reviewed the past NEP initiated by his dads government and so we all need to be aware and ready ourselves for ...more
