WCP AECO gas exposure
Could not find answers about WCP gas take away in their latest presentation.
Looks like 14% of their NG is hedged thru the end of this year.
How much of their dry gas production finds it way to great pricing in the US markets vs horrible AECO pricing at this time?
In particular what is the breakdown of this exposure for the XTO acquisition

These are excellent questions. I sent an email to whitecap yesterday about more information on there gas sales. Hope they reply.

Don't be misled by the Ab spot gas price. It's a temporary situation, apparently caused by outages on the Nova system reducing the takeaway capacity temporarily. Very little gas is sold on the spot market, and winter gas futures in Ab are running around $7.00 right now. All will be fine!

Two weeks have gone by and no reply from IR regarding the WCP / XTO gas production sales markets. AECO pricing continues weak and is considerably discounted to HH gas prices. As time goes by this becomes significant, as WCP has only a small portion of their production hedged. Can anyone shed some light on this? [/quote]
