I'm happy to be an owner... maybe the S.P. will go down initially as someone earlier mentioned about selling the news... We can all pick up a few shares on the cheap... I'm pretty sure we will float back up to previous higher valuations soon enough.... I feel good - Finally!!!!!!!

I think I was the one that said sell the news. Thinking this time is different.  Hard to say know to a 8% plus dividend yield that's covered easily.

I agree it feels different this time.  I'm watching what happens in the US closely. Read an article on the weekend that it's a 50/50 toss up as to whether oil prices drop heading into an election. The author postulated that oil prices nay not decline heading into November, as it would appear as though the Whitehouse is manipulating the price of oil. I spit my coffee out laughing.  ...more

Not seeing the enthusiasm just yet in pre-market bid/ask. It seems to me most solid dividend paying stocks are a bit too boring for the markets that are chasing the more vibrant high flyers and providing them with the exponential gains in the less amount of time, while at the same time satisfying their gambler's high. Me, I'm satisfied with that 8% in annual returns on safe money ...more
