Very good dividend that is safe. Production and earnings continue to beat expectation. Capex unchanged (good for business). Company valuation very fair (in line with peers). Strong management team with quality assets. Expecting further stock buybacks and maybe a dividend raise.

I think our target has been $14 for a couple of years now and we can't even hold $10. At least the dividend keeps coming. GLTA

Yep.  This company is not like Nvidia in that we have no clue what the growth will be like.  We know almost exactly what production will be many years forward . There will no doubling of profit anytime soon. So why would anyone pay 50% more for this stock ?  Other than buybacks and debt reduction , there is no unknown catalyst . That goes for all oil and gas stocks . The dividend ...more

I personally know three owners of medium size business that are in the process of transitioning operations to the US. They tell me that within there circles, they hear of nobody considering relocating or setting up offices in Canada. It's unbelievable that we have Canadians still backing the liberal/ndp coalition and cheering on the governments de-growth objectives, all while increasing the cost of living on Canadians. It's almost as if the government wants to completely shutdown the economy. How can somebody with $1500 per month of pension survive in Canada, is beyond my understanding.  I am truly amazed by ...more

Even if hey had a referendum in Alberta it would handily be defeated.   Go look at the make up of the city's.  The have nots outnumber the haves.   Very good chance the NDP get in next election.   The city's are become a ndp hotbed

Homeless encampments in every province. Not a good omen. Saw one at a scenic highway rest area in BC. Parked campers all sizes. Where are we heading ? It's a nasty feedback loop.

Life is survival of the fittest . Or richest . I'm not sure even Pollievre can change things dramatically other than get rid of half the uselss public employees and cut red tape. But that will take a long long time.  Living expenses is like any other market . If it's unsustainable it will correct . Now that will take a long time and it will be painful.  Nature is a lot more ...more

Thats what we get when one votes for this type of party. More government, more spending , much more control.  Then it takes a while for their mismanagement to show its ugly head as zero productivity gains and zero investment and then it takes a decade to clean up the mess . People never learn from past Liberal / Democrat fiasco's. I am a landlord , and they take 40% of my profit. Never ...more

A new pipeline, driving season, and still a languishing share price.
