RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Short set-up?

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Short set-up?I agree that the decision to allow people to grow their own MJ is bad for LP's, however, I would argue, as I have in the past, that MJ growers are a minority when it comes to MJ consumers - just like the people that make their own beer or wine. Sure its legal and cheaper but Beer stores and bars are thriving. People want ready made products from known brands with regular quality. Although there is probably more "do it yourselfers" in the MJ community than in the alcohol community, I think the major incentive to grow your MJ was to effectively dodge cops and shady dealers. If we believe that there is more illegal buyers than illegal growers currently active, the trend should maintain itself once MJ is legal and growing the stuff will be either a hobby, a poor man's MJ or something hipsters do to make themselves feel better than others ;-) I agree that the COMA is being manipulated like crazy for the last month. Seems like traders have taken over and it is getting hard to play the hold long strategy without seeing gains constantly wiped out and then coming back again. GL

Momentum Man, you are wrong to say what has changed between 4.00 and 7.50. A better way to put it is what has changed from 2.73 to 7.50? One may try to argue that the jump from 2.73 to 4.00 was because the company went on the TSX . But that is actually bullsh1t because every other LP also moved up when CGC hit the TSX. That increase was because of anticipation of the ACMPR, which was a complete disaster, allowing ALL medical patients to grow their own cannabis or designate someone else to do it for them. Once the ACMPR registration begins to roll out, we could see decreasing momentum in patient acquisitions. Yet, production is going to increase and competition is going to intensify. It is going to be a brutal year next year for some of these LPs. Why someone would risk holding it at these prices is like asking why do people go to a casino?
