RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Canopy Weed seling price 3 MOU with provincesUnderstand that there is a big different between prices for wholesale and retail. The majority of our product will be sold wholesale through supply contracts with LCBO. We will get retaiil prices for sales through online(rec) and also retail prices for all medical sales. I'm not sure where you got a wholesale price of $7.98 because we have never sold product yet at a wholesale price.
Canopy will be selling wholesale at a price of between $5 - $5.75 approx depending on product(Brand). Canopy will be getting the highest wholesale price because our brand is the one that most are going to want and turn to. Most other LP''s like Aphria for example, will be getting around $4 wholesale per gram because they are a low cost producer and can afford to sell at that price. Canopy has facilities in nearly every province in Canada while Aphria has 1 large facilty in Leamington which makes it that much easier having a much lower cost per gram.
Canopy has branding dominated. Tweed, Leafs by Snoop, DNA Genetics, are going to be 1 day global leading brands that the entire world knows. Canopy will be able to have their bgrand included on their packaging when rec kicks off, their packaging just wont be allowed to any pictures referencing Snoop Dogg. However, Leafs by Snoop, will be the brand which will be on the packaging. Within 2/3 years, rules surrounding marketing and promotion of branding, will be much looser. Infact, in 5 years, their could very well be commercial advertising.

Why will we volunteerly and happily lower our product price from $ 7.98 to $ 5 per gram. Can this be because of fixed supply/Contract (I have not seen anone reduce their product price by half for secured supply).
Thanks.
