One addition I'd like to make is that history can only repeat itself if all the conditions are largely the same.
Do you really feel the conditions today are the same as August? Legalation has passed, there are a plethora of more names to own (especially with established US exposure) , the chances of another big player using Canopy as their vehicle to enter to market is EXTREMELY low, the global supply market is booming (China, Columbia, Africa, Brazil all running their own fields without need for investment from Canada), how many more shares were added to the float?...
In a market driven by sentiment and hype looking at past performance is the achilles heels.
Look if Canopy comes out and says we cured cancer with our weed then fine, I lose. But I would never invest my money on a hope and dream that a company, whom I (and i mean the stockhouse posters) have never met with will come out with the next game changer for the world. Thats pure insanity.
