Growing weed in your backyard and distilling whiskey are a little different. Flower will always be owned by the black market. I can legally grow enough weed in my backyard to supply my street for a year.
The only way to make money from weed is to process it. Until extracts have been on the shelf for at least one full quarter and there are as many Pot Shops as LCBO's and Beer Stores in Ontario there will be no money entering this industry. It doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize this.
Canopy Growth is only worth what the existing retail outlets can sell divided by the amout of competition. As much of a beating as this sector has taken, these valuations are still way out of wack. If your buying today you are buying into a valuation more realistic in 2022. So hold or sell. No rush to buy.
