Canadian marijuana legalization

Canadian marijuana legalizationis just starting to hit its stride.  Until now they haven't had a chance.  Don't get me wrong because there is still a lot of fixin' that needs doing!  Canopy saw the future that we are moving towards and financed and built it to where we are today.  Started with medical use, built off that with a whole bunch of smokeable product (scratching head as to why) and finally got to ingestables.  We are still hogtied with all kinds of stupid rules about strength of product, posession limits and plain wrapper packaging.  Canopy has persevered while others went to school on us and became competition.  There are a few "corrections" happening along the way like greenhouses giving way to fields of green and some very silly proprietary rules about "touching the product" as far as participating in the US greenrush.  The US seems to be getting it right as far as packaging and advertising but are erring on full legalization for adult rec use at the Federal level.  It is coming in the US but the kicking and screaming to get it there is astounding.  Has anybody considered that maybe Constellation brands might be interested in more shares of Canopy in anticipation of the perfect trifecta CTZ/WEED and Acreage Holdings becoming one and weilding cash, beverage experience, bricks and mortar, fields of green and value added formulation and manufacturing to continue to be the world leader of the marijuana and hemp business?  Canopy Growth has been instrumental in lobbying to help formulate this business with government in Canada for what those in the trenches need.  I have mentioned before, the need for a level playing field with Alcohol.  Maybe our latest uptick in shareprice is coming from underlying currents of US doing the work to launch the greenrush in the States or maybe it is investors putting their money into the hands of a progressive leader and their belief that there are bigger things to come.  A lot of the tried and true regular old bluechips are in for a rough time as we recover from Corona virus which leaves us with the "rush" stocks,  Gold and Green!  glta and dyodd
