RE:Short question

RE:Short questionIf you are clever and understand short selling really well you can esitmate where the short sellers came in on mass and where they may have to cover or have their shares called in by the brokers.  Exactly how many covered and how many new ones came in can really only be estimated unless you have access to more information than the average joe. Brokers with that kind of information can change a stock price dramatically in a single day by placing a large buy at just the right time.

If you short, don't discount the brokers who buy and know how shortselling works, they can buy again and force the squeeze whenever they decide to.  If you're new to shortselling you are at the most risk.
