RE:RE:Re the Occupation of Ottawa …

RE:RE:Re the Occupation of Ottawa …Hey Cmc888 ... you have clearly missed my point ... whether that is inetention on your part or from having blinders on.  I agreed with the protest and its intentions at the beginnning.  In my college days, I actually was part of a protest that marched to our prov. buildings in protest of tuition rates and increases.  However, this is over the top.  We went to the gov. grounds, had our say, stayed for the day and went home ... back to our lives.  What we have now is a group of people who are willing to stomp on other peoples rights in favor of their own.  I am sure you must agree that there is a fringe group that has joined the cause and they are not doing the cause any favour.  The truckers who organized this should have taken it upon themselves to squash what has shone a bad light on the entire event.  They are now beiong tainted with the one brush. They must realize what was to be a protest is now an occupation ... and that in itself has now become the focus ... the intent of the protest has been lost.
