my little success story with cgc

Around 2016 I had to move to Nova Scotia so started spending days watching cannabis stock. Back then it was C.O.M.A   Everyone on this board was enthusiastic about the pending legalisation in Canada.  Bought stocks with acb, Aphria, Canopy, bounced around.  Mettrum eventually bought by Canopy.  Things started to pick up.  I remember buying my first canopy at 3.25 then 3.85.   I bought Aphria and Canopy, not rich but started to see making money was possible and started to sink rsps into investing.  Eventually ended up with 7000 Canopy shares.   I had no investment experience whatsoever and couldn't believe my bank account,  400k 500k, was getting crazy when it went up to 78 dollars a share.  Then boom it started to come down and every day I would see my bank account get smaller, I got out at 44 dollars.  Made enough to pay my mortgage around 300 k, kept some shares  but sold again at 22.  Anyway, with covid i got lucky and sold my home for twice the value so canopy really changed my life, gave me a nest egg.  Just wanted to say hello to any old posters, and share some positivity. Well done, good for you. Most people dont realized the harder part of investing is when to sell.  Glad it worked out for you.
