Huffing and Puffing cannabis stock up in smoke!

How can anyone get excited about buying into a industry that keeps losing money, bankrutcies, foreclosure, layoffs with 2024 guildance from them all a miss mostly negative. And waiting for the DEA will be months away so who wants to tie their money up in this horrible sector. And in the end even after the DEA legalizes it the industry is saturated and just grow your own. Cannabis the next BRE-X

So when I asked -what I am missing?- and you mentioned- volume vs avg,I  will take that to mean, there is less volume so a few sellers will influence the price. However, that also means there is no buyers. Why not? Where are they? Is this not good news? Why would sellers overwhelm buyers on this news release, unless as I mentioned, this was already priced in. So now we are back to my ...more

Buyers (Long Positions) come in as news circulates.  Those selling can only sell once, then they are out.  Short positions require a cover (buy) to close regardless of price movements.  Once those who wish to exit are gone then those remaining are those who are commited to the investment and getting better prices than what is currently offered. Bad news travels fast but Good News ...more
