Just watched the LD Micro 500 : Hamed Shahbazi & hot pointsrealy spoke well and is very interesting. I like him and how is running Well Health.
Key points that caught my attention :
- Li-Ka Shing, very respected leader, has added shares in Well Health. He also increased his stake in Zoom. The guy may be old but he believes in the video-conferencing sector.
- Over 100 different acquisitions in the pipeline for Well Health. As he talked, they have high knowledge and experience in M&A and every acquisition is calculated. A very sophisticated deal management : they give high importance to profits.
- "We are on our way to adding new Clinics acquisitions in Canada and we feel that WELL, in the next year or 2, will become the biggest operator/owner of Clinics in Canada."
As of today, Well is the 4th larget operator/owner of Clinics in Canada.
- All through the presentation, he talked about profits, how close they were in Q2, and how they are on track to possibly be profitable by Q4.
Amazing CEO in my opinion. The future is very bright, will have no issues raising money for more acquisitions, backed by a reputable billionnaire, his track record is solid and knows how to bring WELL to the 100 M$ revenues model.
Keep in mind the market share of medecine in Canada : 243 billion dollars.
