this stock was $8-$9 a few month ago and nothing has changed

a pension fund just bough convertibles with a $9.23 strike

Li Ka Shing and others bought at $9.80 

as mentioned by speedy99, the volume here has been huge and it you look at individual trades there are a lot of blocks of 100K shares being snapped up. someone is flushing out weak retail traders and scooping up the shares.

I'm not worried until we see a bad NR or bad financial results.
