reloaded at 4.56

sorry for confusing language...I started like many others as a buy and hold guy....at times I was convinced traders were the problem holding a stock back even holding resentment for day traders .....over the last 5 years or so I realized that if you can't beat em, join em....I usually have all my shares set for sale at profit margins that I have loosely pre set....I break up.my position into 4 or 5 increasing price targets....I also set rebuys at loosely set pull back targets.. if (usually when not if) they pull back I rebuy some all or sometimes even more..for me to be sold out means I hit at least 3 or 4 price targets without a significant pull back to reload them...this has only happened 2 or 3 times in all the time I have owned well...glta

just checked and my last tranche sold at only 4.62 so rebuying at 4.56  is an unusually small pull back for me to rebuy but with no shares left and positive momentum I did feel some fomo...glta

i feel trading well that way was appropriate for that stage of growth and the macro factors that were at work....how else were you going to make money on a position that is just going up and down in a range? am I chasing a bit here? Yes! but maybe this time we are headed to another level so I reloaded....and yes I have owned well since the very beginning...glta

Ya sure - no one cares but you. So stop
Comment by wideopenthrottl on Jul 03, 2024 3:23pm
ya....you are right...why would anyone want to read about trading strategies (good or bad) when they can read zingers and personal attacks instead..glta
Comment by SunsetGrill on Jul 03, 2024 4:11pm
exactly - because no one wants to read about bad investment stratigies that are make believe and made up out of thin air whose only purpose is to make oneself look like an investment genius. Come up with a good investment strategy that is not B.S. and no one will have to read any zingers.

um...if I am posting honestly as I always have, some of my trades will be bad ones..I usually only post my trades in real.time too....how does this make me trying to come off as a genius ( I am just an average retail investor and never have I claimed to be more than that)...just trying to share ideas...glta

If your honest and a trader it is highly likely you are on the bad end more often than not. Again no one here cares about your trades other then you. Go to tradeflipper.com Dude no one and I mean no one (if they are a serious investor has a plan to sell at $4.60 and buy back at 4.56 - funny you didnt post your selling price till after the stock pulled back a bit to 4.56. You certainly didnt say ...more
