They would be worthless. But people are buying them because they are STILL able to exercise them. So why buy them? Simple: why buy a share for a 1.60 when I can buy a warrant for 72 cents. Then phone my broker and add on another 85 cents. And now I have a share for 1.57 I saved 3 cents. Not much of a savings but if your going to buy 20000 shares then 3 cents is a 600 dollar savings. I would gladly pick up the phone and phone my broker if it's going to save me 600 dollars.
