Willow's Future

Willow has No Debt.  and almost 41 million in cash.
They have started to sell their product.
And they have a number of other products in the pipeline ( to use the language of a pharmaceutical company that has potential new drugs coming to market)

I see a number of things needed for Willow to really go big.
Management has stressed how Willow's path to making CBG is drastically more gentle to environment than the conventional way of growing the plant.  So perhaps after the UN made it clear  recently how much the planet needs to unite and stop greenhouse emissions, perhaps the governments will add a big tax on to each company that is adding to the problem.  Then big companies like Canopy and Weed will see their overhead go way up.  And the margins for Willow will become much more attractive to pharmaceutical companies.

Also, they need to identify some significant needs for the products they can create.
Hopefully their management team can become aware and identify these advantages and  develop them to their full potential.   Who knows..?  Their could be a team of researchers in france right now that have figured out an incredible benefit for CBG or CBN or THC...that Willow is not aware of.  So they need to be on top of what is the cutting edge research revealing as to the benefits of these canniboids.

Also, their ability to use the DNA instructions of this plant, should allow them to do the same with other plants.  Could it be their is another molecule in a different plant that is drastically more valuable to produce in large quantities?  Hopefullly Willow is exploring this option.  I think the investor community  feels that perhaps their is not that much of a need for Willow's technology...and that is why the price has softened.   Something needs to happen that makes the investor community feel Willow's service is going to be very much in demand....

Thank you for your response. So is this the reason for everyone selling? I asked management if they have enough money make it to commercialization and they feel confident they do. Also that analyst group said they feel confident they do. So it must be the sellers don't trust management's assessment. True? Even if it's now 5.5 million burn per quarter because of expanding things, that ...more

The whole cannabis industry is in a shake out phase with nobody making any profits. Oversupply of production facilities means some have to go belly up. Investors probably wondering where the hell synthetic cannabis will land in this mess.

So I can give the answer CEO Trevor would give. Willow can produce CBG significantly cheaper and with greater purity. And in much less time. And with much less impact on the environment. So that Willow will be the last one going belly up. Also pharmaceutical companies need consistent purity of supply. This is something that is very hard by extracting from the plant what little bit grows inside it. ...more
