windy lake -d,drilling 1969in 1972 i was told of deep drilling by inco and falconbridge on the southern side of windy lake.the diamond drills were 190 feet high in order to drill to the depths required.gold assays of 8 to 9 onzes were hit,so i was told by a person who would know.the first drill seen was inco,s the second seen about 3 months later and further to the south was falconbridge,s drill.they both hit gold assays as stated.if anyone knows how deep drills of this size would deep drill please state here,i was told 8 to 9 thousand feet they had drilled,thank you.
