The expectation........WM was added to the MCSI small cap index fund and Canada index fund, and those funds needed to buy 8M shares at a significant premium in the after-market at $1.35 before the end of the month.
Consensus is that it will settle back to around the $1.20 level but this is a very good thing for Wm - these are strong-hand funds and indices, further strength to their shareholder base.
