if you take a look at the following link you may imagine that a lot of the (poor) developing country´s may have to import a lot more of food from the/a few country/regions in the future caused by the climatic changes,
to much/less water or in some regions, depending extrem changing wet and dry conditions will hurt the crops dramatically.
no doubled or trippelt use of fertilizer can help under this extreme conditions at different regions,
cause too much water or/and droughts (only or in combination) will destroy nearly all attemps.
in addition with the always in loop appearing el nino/el nina phenomens and ug99 (this ugly little mushroom) the outlooks are not so pretty, for many countrys around the globe.
