Did you ever look at a map and check how far away the Mosaic Esterhazy mine from KRN? If you have no idea, let me tell you: over 250km. Do you really think the 250km away mine's water leaking information can support KRN has sufficient ground water for solution mine?

The key point here is: Does KRN have any official technical report to verify and confirm sufficient ground water for mining? If yes, why the MoE requires tests  to confirm a sufficient groundwater before construction is permitted. If no, why KRN didn't do this work before EIS and even not finish it till today?

Another issue. If I am wrong please correct it. For primary potash solution mining, fresh water must be required. The ground water is brine (brackish). Where is the fresh water coming from for KRN mining? Purify the ground water? Does it mean the water is not cost free like somebody advertising here?
