Management Contracts

This company has gone from $ 1.25 - 1.50 five years ago to $ .28 cents and we payouts $ 3,000,000 in bonus. Salaries to Varas alone are $ 500,000 with 30% scheduled bonus and a X3 annual salary with bonus upon termination. And he is 1 of 5 with massive salaries while the share price is off 450%. Nice retirement plan for them. Is this ever going to return to previous levels?

Hi up2005 -This is a more of a criminal act that will not be punished under Canadian law. The fact that many companies treat their stockholders as their public bank while the stock looses huge percentages of their previous values should be considered a criminal act in Canada. T.E, the enterprise group , PHM , ... Patient Home Monitoring Corp has also , in my thoughts, has done a similar disservice ...more

It is happening all over. These vulgar salaries that are paid so those individuals act on behalf of ALL shareholders then have the edacity to demand and receive BONUS $$$ even when the share price and business tanks. And these termination contracts, that's just ridiculous. 3x your salary and bonus. The reason you are getting terminated is because you can't do your job. You should be paying ...more

While I'm not a fan of mgt benefits if the company's milestones are not met and they still get financial benefits despite unmet expectations its just a fact of life . Whining about it serves no purpose. Shareholders approve compensation via votes so the vast majority feel their compensation is justified. That said just because the sp is in the toilet it has little to do with mgt. market ...more

Whining about it serves a very good purpose. Management has crapped the bed. I can whine all I want. You obviously have not lost $38,535.00 on this dog. I am a long term investor since 2009 and bought 21,000 at $2.11. This based on the same bullshit promises coming from PV today.

Unfortunately during the last AGM only 51 million shares voted out of 226,776,059, so only a small minority actually voted. Is 3 million in transaction bonuses plus amended Management contracts  reasonable?  I would be surprised if anyone thought so,  but  writing to the company as well with your concerns may be more effective.  They have stopped responding to me when I ...more

June 2009. This stock has only been listed on the TSX since 2011.

I've been around since 2004 and have a much more considerable paper loss than 38k . However, the drop in potash prices in not the fault of mgt. perhaps if the scoping studies were completed sooner in a more favorable price environment this would have been wrapped up long ago but  3rd parties conducted the scoping study. Timing of its completion may not have been able to have been done any ...more
