Options Bonanza 2022

Adds 1,455,100 to the fully diluted count, now at 161,899,248 if my calculations are correct.

A while ago I read somebody post that the total amount of dilited shares should be around 166,000,000. I've been using this number as a worst case scenario when estimating SP of any future sale. I'm hoping it doesn't get much higher than that!

Last corporate presentation has us at 160.4m, plus the recent SEDIs is how I got to 161.9m. No more. No Rio taking 12.5%, no gold major getting in for a piece. Enough!

If RIO is the purchaser, then you can back their shares out for calcs since they don't buy their own shares.

Good call, so backing Rio's share out we have approx 150.1m shares fully diluted.
Comment by Pinegrove1 on Feb 22, 2022 5:56pm
They would want either money for their shares or reduce the purchase price by that amount. You're suggesting their shares have no value??
Comment by Sooner on Feb 22, 2022 6:18pm
I think you're right Pine - they ain't just giving WRN shareholders their shares!
Comment by jclarke042 on Feb 22, 2022 6:58pm
Pine, whatd happen is the press release reads "Rio agrees to buy the 92.x% of the shares it doesn't already own for Y billion dollars, or Z per share." Their shares obviously aren't worthless, not sure if anything I said prior suggested otherwise.

Makes sense when stated that way.
