You shouldn't listen to anyone and you should do your own DD....as I am.  As I said, if you are that negative, sell and move on.  Reread my story about they guy hitting himself in the head with a hammer.  You are the one that won't close out your position but want to sit around and complain all the time.

do me a favor--- chart out WRN vs. Rio....or WRN or WRN vs Cu....etc. I think maybe after you review that you won't feel WRN is getting picked on and signled out....

Sooner your fair.  So I will indulge. Wrn has been slice in half from fifty two week highs.  Copper is down from a high of 4.75 to 3.42 right now. It's down 1.32 which is about 27 percent. Not even close. If you read my posts for the last 5 years you will see a lot of positive and negative sentiment.  Right now I'm negative because it's been an unmitigated disaster

Yeah - I'm not taking the highs but just using 6 month, 1 year, and 2 year starting point in the comp.  agree- I never thought we would have so far below Rio placement--- that is for sure and definitely disappointing

Just ran it and WRN, RIO, NEM, and BHP. On a percentage change scale look nearly identical for past year and very close over last 5 years.

Translation for this slow in their analytical skills, what is happening with the WRN share price is common among the mining industry.  If you blame management for that, you are blaming management at all those companies and ignoring all global contributing factors.

Every single one of them is near their 52 week lows.  There is NOTHING UNUSUAL going on with WRN or our managemnt team....other then they will be negotiating next steps or a deal with at least one of the others.

If you feel that there is nothing wrong  with Wrn and it's management then I can't argue with a fool    ps if you think their that great Just start buying. Tell your buddies on the board to start buying. If you ain't gonna be critical then put your money where your mouth is.  Thank God there are others that are balanced on this board.

Metal I'm open minded. Took your advice.  Partially. Got sell orders at 1.65 1.66 1.67 each for 10 k totalling 30 k in shares.  Still have some fool in me too so I'm holding some for poo and giggles.  Maybe you should try and be critical at times. It's healthy.

I have no problem being critical, of others and myself, when it's appropriate.  In Thai case, even trading today, all three majors I listed are up 1.4%-2.0%.  And what is WRN doing? You guessed it, up 1.6% as if this message.  It's more the current market than it is management.  I still wish they would put out more frequent updates and stick to their timelines better

let Sooner be the voice of reason between you 2 --- haha A couple things - 1) Why would you ever take the WRN 52 week high and compare to current price vs. a major's high vs current price??? Use 6 mo, 12 mo, 18 mo, 24 mo, 36 mo, etc baseline in the comparison --- too volative on WRN vs. major using the 52 week high 2) Unfortunately we should expect a much higher return on WRN vs. a major ---

Sooner, you're hoping our share price hits $6 next year?  I've been under the impression you were hoping for a buyout target of $6. Becoming a bit unsure about us achieving your target? Here's my take on it:  The BoD will reject any offer that low, so it will never see the light of day.  How then could a buyout occur?  Well, now that is the heart of the issue

Turquiose Hill shareholders probably think they were worth $100 per share and not $43...so not sure they all think Rio paid "fair" price. The real question is if turquise is worth $3.3B...how much is WRN worth exactly??? I realize difficult since so many differences ...but it would be interesting to understand differences. How much did they pay to acquire Turquiose share of metal

Unless I'm misunderstanding, Rio's 3.3b for the 49% of Turquiose, which owns 66% of Olu, implies total valuation of 10.2 billion. I'd use 10.2 implied for Olu when considering possible comps to Casino, discounting where we are in permitting, etc.

That's correct. $10B value for a mine expected to last 100 years and generate $5B per year gross sales I believe. At least I think that's the estimate at current metal prices. I think Oyu is equivalent of about 5.5Casino's....or about $1.9b cad or $1.5B usd  Maybe someone else has better data on NPV estimates of Oyu...what discount we should take into account for Casino (not
