When Dale acquired the Cariboo Rose properties from his friend Bill Morten, he essentially placed a piece in front of Newmont's Coffee project and declared "check mate".

I thought it was Canadian Creek that Dale bought within about 4 hours when it was not even up for sale! The CEO of Canadian Creek did not even meet with his board to accept the offer --- it was that good! I don't think they were talking 2-3 dollars per share for WRN at the time as it had to be much higher for the CEO to "pull the trigger" on the spot.

Correct, Pappy! Cariboo Rose was the company name and Canada Creek property packages, including Ana A, Ana B, and Casino B, were the property names. And, yes, you are correct on how Dale and Bill handled the transaction. Let's just say Bill was in Dale's court.
