Nothing is going to move for WRN until the Canadian federal government commits funds to study, path, and engineering for a grid interconnection.  You need to get your head around that.  Luckily those funds already exist for such purposes.  Yukon just needs to submit the applications and secure the funding.   Once the feds commit the funds toward getting a grid connection to BC, ...more

You sound a little too optimistic about this Canadian government for my liking. I live here and have watched this disaster dumpster fire of a Liberal government screw everything up it touches. Look at Transmountain. Prime example of Government "help". If this is what we're in need of you best hope Pierre gets elected to a majority government because this current one will take a ...more

Agree with your comments.  The good news (eternally optimistic DB) is that both the Liberals & Conservatives are pro resource development (critical minerals).  Liberals have actually set some cash aside.  Further good news is that the Liberals will be gone next year.  PC's seem committed to removing the "gatekeepers".  Seems like some real motivated ...more

The sad fact of the matter is if you LISTEN to what they say versus watching their actions you're in for a major disappointment. Sure they have money set aside without a doubt, they've had the money printers running for 8 years. The question is will they ACTUALLY do as they say(If you're a betting man bet NO) OR will they do as they always do. Talk and talk and talk but never actually ...more

Normally I'd agree with you. I've always said "show me don't tell me"  and "money talks and bulls#it walks", however thus is a little different. It has momentum, is politically hot and has lots of eyes on it. Also the Yukon and BC are motivated as it is in their best interests. If WRN were the only one to benefit it wouldn't go anywhere. We're just a ...more

so $5 copper and $2500 doesn't do the trick either....it's all about the grid connect now....is that what you are saying? Sorry - do not agree at all with your logic. THe grid connect wasn't even a topic up until about 6 months ago and now suddenly WRN is make or break based upon that?  Wow -- how the turns have tabled...

Sooner You are absoultly right, ""THe grid connect wasn't even a topic up until about 6 months ago and now suddenly WRN is make or break based upon that?  Wow -- how the turns have tabled... "" I am just going along for the ride, Rio playing Paul / WRN Bod, what next shovel ready ?  Sorry,, $3.00 CD and I am out on a buyout,, hopefully this year ! LOL " ...more

Marine, I respect your opinion, but I disagree. I think Paul must have known about the need for the grid long before RIO jumped on board. It would be strange that Mike Cathro knew about that in 2018/2019, but Paul didn't. Also, if this were only a two or three bagger, I wouldn't even waste my time with WRN. I have better cards than that already. Min $12 per share is my target. Of course, I ...more

Steven Thanks I hope we see your ""Min $12 per share target."" I own to many shares to just dump them in the market so I will just stick around. Lets hope we get closer to your $12 target ! We will go with the grid conection announcements this year, this would be a game changer ! M2

Me, too. To be honest, a lot depends on Ranj's diplomacy skills. Ottawa has always had a bent towards Quebec for political reasons which means the Yukon and NWT often get ignored. I really think Ranj is the first strong premier the Yukon has ever had. Now, it all comes down to marketing. It needs to be sold on that it is in the whole nation's best interest to both build the power grid and ...more

A reasonable pathway to green energy, of which the grid is the likely candidate.  Pathway, not completion.
