RE:RE:RE:RE:While you all chatter in theory Unfortunately what you are failing to realize is the market doesn't really care what you or I think the value of Casino is...the only thing that matters in valuing Casino is the person with the checkbook who is able and willing to pay what they think the value is.
$150B of metal in the ground is worthless if it's going to take $151B to extract....I'm not saying that's the case with Casino but all those articles you read on how to value sn explorer are a little pointless. Do me a favor, go back and read Bold Bataar comments to TRQ shareholders..and it will you a great idea about how Rio values an asset. I'll give you a hint...it's more about the market cap and less about the value of the metal in the ground...although obviously that is an input.
yes....I think an offer of $4 cad from Rio would be very welcome by many shareholders...and if as you suggest that is greatly undervaluing Casino...then the market will respond accordingly!!!!!
