NEM SHAREHOLDERS MEETING YESTERDAY..

I participated in the phone meeting of NEM's CEO yesterday.  Naturally, it was an impressive meeting which shared the $3.2 third quarter resuts of NEM --- the largest in their history.  A key statement made by Tom Palmer was that they have "new targets" for future mining and "will announce a purchase next month"!!  I like our chances!!

Wouldn't that be nice!  Can't see it without our drill results but the offer could be flexible enough to deal with that. If I were a major I'd be on this quick and avoid the competition and subsequent price increase.

Sure would be nice to see more increase in share price prior to buyout and negotiations.... If it is WRN and within next month...it’s obviously  not going to be anywhere near the target share price that’s been thrown around here.

I think we need to give management some credit here.  They aren't going to give this thing away.  Dale, Paul & HNW individuals have been holding for 14 years.  They know they are in the zone from a price of copper/gold perspective with Majors shopping.

I called 855-209-8210 at NEM to get connected to the live presentation by Tom Palmer.  The "replay" # that was given to me by NEM is 877-344-7529 if you want to try that.  A friend told me that he also found a video of the Tom Palmer presentation, but I haven't bothered looking for it.  He said the quote was at about the 7 minute + mark if you find either one.
