I am new to this board. I just wanted to say thank you to all the active members (almost all...) for the education and excellent discussions pertaining to this company and exploration/mining in general. I've been a Rio Tinto shareholder for about a decade and came Western as soon as Rio took an interest in the company. I stumbled onto this board about 6 months ago and I've been reading it daily ever since. I am retired and a long term investor, not a trader... I understand the merits of that type of investing/speculating and admire the skill of those who are good at it, However, it's not for me. I prefer to think of myself as an owner when I take a position in a company after a period of sufficient due diligence... Anyway, that's enough about me... Again, thanks for the education... You really can't put a price on that..

Welcome Rio! Interesting strategy to put some cash into small potential acquisition targets to supplement your main Rio investment! Let's hope they work out a win win with Rio! look forward in 5-10 years reading in Rio (or Newmont or whomever) about production out of Casino!!!

Thanks, Sooner... Yes, that's the idea. If everything goes well, ultimately adding more shares of Rio to my holdings from the investment. Whether we get Casino in the end we'll just have to wait and see,. Based on the public information we have now, we're looking at roughly a 50 year mine and possibly more... A deposit, not in size (that we know of) but similar in nature to Bingham
