I wouldn't take it as "WRN/RIO discussing sale today." More like, the Strategic Investment itself is the "significant discussion."

To that point, Metal, all WRN needs to get the MC moving is a simple PR: "Here's the drill results, Rio's checklist is complete, we're entering Strategic Review." I've even emailed Paul telling him so. It'd be two weeks to all-time highs, then an appropriate premium, and there's your $1b sale.

Unfortunately, communication (well lack thereof) has been an ongoing issue with WRN as long as I have been a shareholder (almost 7 years).  They won't even provide monthly progress updates (drill, analysis, etc.) on a regular basis like I have requested innumerable times.
