ediblesEdible sales are better then expected. OCS indicated that they expected their first shipment of edibles to sell out within a week prior to the store opening. It ended up taking less then 10 minutes.
XLY is executing on its Cannabis 2.0 stratagy better then another other company in the earlly going account for about 50% of the edible products that have been for sale. Given that companies are very limited in their marketing and branding activities XLYs first to market advantage could be huge in establishing brand recognition and brand loyalty.
At this point in time XLY is going to be able to sell as many products as they can produce.
Q4 results will show us a small glipse of the potential with about 2 weeks of sales before year end. But XLY should dominate the edible sales for Q1 2020.
My hope is that when they release there Q4 results likely Mid March that they will include some sales numbers and guidence for Q1 given that more then two months worth of sales data should be available to them at that point.
The next six months is going to be big for XLY
