Edible sales in NBCannabis NB now has on thier website the ability to see how many packs of what producst on currently in stock.
Most of Foray and Kolab gummies are sold on online and at most stores. This is true for other companies products as well.
For the chocolates some are sold out some are not, but you can see and get an idea of how much stock stores are carrying with this numbers. The product that still has the most units in stock is the The dark chocolate square which has 1783 packs in stock accross 20 stores and 1 online outlet in NB. So in NB on average each store has 85 packs of this one product. The one gummie product that is not almost entirely sold out is a low does product. There are 898 packs across NB so about 42 per store.
From talking with people who work for Cannabis NB I believe they recieve shipments on Tuesdays so I can check what things look like tomorrow for some of the completely sold out items to see how much stock they get in.
I think these number can give us a much better of idea of how much product XL"Y is shipping. If we assume the they are starting by making and shipping equal amount of the 11 products, which would sence until the get a good idea of which products have higher demand. This would mean they they have sent a bare minimum of 1783 pack of 11 different products which would be just under 20,000 packs. This assumes they have not sold a signle pack of the dark chocolate square so that number is actually going to be higher.
Up to now products have pretty much sold out each week for the past 10 weeks. That woudl mean over 200,000 packs would have been sold in NB. If wholesale is $5 the is $1million in revenue to XLY off 20 stores plus NBs online store. That is about $50,000 per store
Now NB is pretty small population wise at about 800,000 people where the population of Canada, less Quebec is roughly 28 million. So NB would be 3% of the population base XLY is selling to. So they are likely shipping more product elsewhere but if we assume equal shipment to each province the would $9 million in sales. If all 700 stores in Canada got equal amount compare to the 20 stores in NB that would be $35million in sales.
I am sure the actual number falls somewhere in the middle, but $20million in revenue for Q1 is looking very realistic. Hopefully updated numbers tomorrow will help clarify things even further.l
