RE:RE:Public & Private Entrance Points Even in states where there is conceal carry, and areas where conceal or open carry it is permitted this tech will allow security staff to determine who is carrying what, potentially layer this tech with other security measures, sensors tech etc. Ie like the barriers in the PAT video that slow someone down and allow for secondary screening. I think this tech will see widespread usage as an alternative or augmentation of metal detectors and wands, imagine airport security screening being a walk though for 90% of passengers, 10% being sent for secondary screening rather than 99% of folks having to get halfway undressed so as not to set off the metal detector.
