RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Question I struggle with on when to buy energy stocks...Bonterra took a 331m impairment writdown in 2020 during COVID thing.
I haven't spent the time going through Bne financials since then to see if they have "Revalued up" since the big impairment Bne took in 2020.
hendrick the problem is if companies "Revalued up" during last years financials. You can do this, Cardinal energy way back when took an impairment write down and in later years reversed some.
if current commodity prices hold I think sector does see some write downs both on drilling rig industry and mature properties.
