RE:RE:RE:Todays news..BaytexI don't think Baytex is moving out of Canada. Their Duvernay land and Clearwater positions are backbones.
Baytex is doing same thing Tamarack Valley and Crescent Point did....setting their companies up for the next 10 years and that takes asset dispositions and shifts.

Any of these management teams left in Canadian oil patch are generally very strong.

I dont think these companies can sit and do nothing.

And thats my concern about the whole cardium right now.
The lack of mergers is laughable as what do these cardium companies think future holds?

Time will tell but I think these companies should be proactive and not wait until comoddity prices force them into hard decisions.
