Confidential status is given by the crown prior to drilling. An exploration well will get a 1 year confidential status. It really doesn't signify anything yet. It might be good . It might be bad. Belly River is notoriously limited in extent so they will want to do some long term testing to see if the pressure holds up. Belly River is shallow. Any company around them that holds mineral rights will own Belly River rights.
