Downplayed expectations- on purpose?

As I have said....the financial health of the conpany is very good and will be excellent. They are committing to shareholder returns in 2023- which will be great.  Question is to hold, dump or trade.  Those who think they understated their potential could be in for a real positive surprise... as oil rises post US elections and winter in Europe....let alone the heating and diesel crisis now arising in the US.

So, hold, accumulate or trade it. I think the best days are yet to come

I think posters are looking much too negatively at this company. Two key fundamentals relative to share price tells me this is one of the most undervalued companies in the sector. EPS and FFO per share. Take those numbers relative to share price and find me one with a lower multiple.  Those are the numbers that matter. This stock trades below 2 1/2 earnings and 11/2 FFO. @ Hendrick, I suppose how long others are willing to wait is the key. I agree with what you say above, however here is where I think others are coming from. In addtion to YGR I also hold CVE and XOM. If we use June 2022 as a baseline, XOM is slightly above where they were CVE is down about 8%, yet YGR is down 30%. Yes time frame matters so if you are in for a month or two, you may do better. I will always choose the most undervalued stocks because the value eventually comes out and I am in this sector for years not months. I am also in this sector for hundreds of thousands in return not hundreds. The problem with with switching out of the most undervalued name is that suddenly it is discovered and you miss ...more
