RE:RE:Shorts need to be shitting in their pants after this😂I don't think this would have any bearing on existing short positions, as it would only prevent large hedge funds like GGP or MMCAP from participating in bought deals to cover large short positions.
While I agree that this type of regulation is badly needed, there are also drawbacks to the companies issuing he bought deal. By this I mean that it might become a lot more difficult to raise the amount of money that they have in the past.
