Silver price manipulation.

Pretty sure Tahoe executives are very aware of the following.

JP Morgan held 0 oz of silver in 2011, and as of August, 2018, now holds 50% of the total Comex vaulted silver with 144,640,061 oz.  Question to be asked is why are they amassing such an incredible volume of physical silver.  And they are not the only ones.

There is accumulation happening at a heightened scale while keeping price depressed and production halted.  You are seeing the process of drying the supply until such time when price will shoot up.

The whole saga at Tahoe's mine is and always has been nothing but a manipulation of the above.
The very sad part is that this has been done at the cost of thousands who have lost their jobs and the Gutemalan elite plus those in high governmental and political positions playing their part who will benefit exponentially when the price starts rising and the mine reopens.  This amplifies how corrupt, the judicial body in Guatemala is.

The weekly CoTs data has revealed extreme short positions in gold and silver; late 2015 pales in comparison to current.  So imagine what a short squeeze would look like when it happens.

There is also a reason why Russia and China have been buying gold, with Russia dumping their US treasuries - de-dollarization.

Jigsaw; I am not disputing your manipulation point. But It is pointless for individual investors to try to grasp background activity. We can only sensibly try to understand one company at a time.
