Talisman Mining Limited is an Australia-based mineral development and exploration company. The Company is engaged in the exploration, discovery and development of opportunities in base and precious metals. It has secured tenements in the Cobar/Mineral Hill region in Central New South Wales (NSW) through the grant of its own exploration licenses and through a joint venture agreement. Its projects include Lachlan Base Metal and Copper-Gold Project, Mabel Creek Project and Yarindury Porphyry Copper-Gold Project. Its Lachlan Project encompasses approximately 7,100 square kilometers (km2) land position in the highly prospective Lachlan Fold Belt of central New South Wales. It also has over 1040 km2 of highly prospective tenure in Mabel Creek Project, which is a prospective for iron oxide copper gold (IOCG) deposits and intrusion related rare earth and battery metals mineralization. Yarindury Project is located 30km east of Dubbo in the Macquarie Volcanic Arc of central-western NSW.

RE:Back in 2008I would have to agree with you...
At these prices, a company like this is a steal.. %5 dividend and a collapse in price lower than the 2008 levels, this company is an easy two fold once the oil prices stabalize. 
I would say we should be expecting a slightly better entry point once oil stablizes around 60.

This entry opportunity will not last for long IMO, specially since the main producing OPEC nations are slowly going under except Saudis of course, but give em' a few years and they will too.
I haven't even included the US shale production and Canadian production that is slowly decreasing as a result of this.

Very soon the US and Canada wont even need the Saudi oil anymore, since we will have East-west pipeline(s).

That being said, I'm no expert, Im just following market behaviour/ research. 

I will definitely be jumping in soon since this dividend is hard to ignore and people keep foolishly selling their positions. 

P.S In case no one has noticed, Natural Gas is now considered a clean energy in BC which means that Talisman can recieved tax deductions.
