I follow @Deepak Anand on Twitter and he just posted an article from Canada Gazette about proposed regulations that would ban any flavours, other than those derived naturally from cannabis, from vaping products.  They purport it is to control the exponential growth of youth using these products.  If the legislation goes through the way they propose, our licensed producers will be at a definite disadvantage in the marketplace, especially if/when legalisation happens stateside.  I, my husband, and our daughter all use Soleil vapes that are flavoured with lavender, as well as other flavoured vapes.  After two bouts of cancer, my husband has found these products more efficacious, especially given his physical limitations as a result of the cancer.  I also have health conditions that help make these my products of choice.  While I understand that protecting youth is important, how far is too far?  If LPs are crippled by legislation such as this, how will they compete with other producers worldwide?  The document I have linked to is quite long and repetitive throughout, but take a look for yourselves and see what you think.  glta

Canada Gazette article outlining proposed changes to the Cannabis Act

ediabid...sorry if i got your name wrong i went by memory.. good post sorry to hear about your husbands cancer and your health conditions.. hope you both do well and remain as healthy as posible.. there has been many of my own family members who have had cancer.. if the world goverments.. put the same effort behind cancer a cure could be found much like covid. best wishes.. cheers

Thanks Vulcan and I agree more effective treatment of cancer definitely needs to be done.  It is a worldwide scourge and so many die from its various forms and those that don't are often left with debilitating side effects.  With your family members who have dealt with this, you must have a good understanding of the devastation it can cause in a family.  I hate to sound cynical, but it is in the best interests of the big pharmas to maintain the status quo.  This is one of the reasons that it is so important that more research is done on cannabis and its ability to treat medical conditions.  Thanks for your positive comments and all the best with Tilray.  Hopefully this latest downturn will subside soon and we will be on the path to gains.
