19 Aug Vote

19 Aug VoteDespite all the noise in this sector, the only thing of interest to me this week is the upcoming special meeting on Thursday.  I sincerely hope there are enough votes to get this through and Tilray can get on with taking advantage of some M&A while the sector is in the dumpster.  The USA will eventually get SAFE and MORE passed, and then legalization.  Meanwhile, as Mr. Simon has said on countless occasions, Tilray is looking at an 18 to 24 month timeframe to establish in the USA.  I am not sure how anyone can argue with the logic of this.

Neither a buyer or seller at this point...just patiently holding some shares in the hope it unfolds as I expect.  For those who called the demise...I hope you acted on that call and either went all cash or dabbled in some puts.  In the end it is all a market game and one must make their best guess.  My average on Tilray is 17.12CDN  so I am not overly concerned about where it is trading today.  I have a sell order in for 33.33CDN.  I think it could go much higher, but I am hoping to catch the next wave up and what the heck, four threes if fun to look at.  For those who suggest one should not telegraph their intent...my meager holdings and what I say I am going to do with them have no bearing on the share price.  There are far bigger aspects in play.

Ultimately, I bear no ill will toward any investor no matter what side of the trade...we are all doing it for the same reason; to make money.
