Good advice Quin to do your own serious research. I suspect many of the readers and posters on Stockhouse do so. The daytraders in and outers etc probably look at that madhouse stocktwits all five words emotional momentum stuff. The size of Tilray will be better ascertained next quarter in October when Hexo is rolled in and it may be that Tilray is the largest.
Here's the interesting stuff that you surely know Nearly all the longer term investors like yourself(you've been posting for a long time) have unfortunately bought high.and subsequently averaged down (or left cannabis investing entirely) Buyers and holders from 2022 and earlier Every one dollar or even ten cent rise brings more of these people above water and that is a great thing. My research leaves me pretty sure that Tlray will remain on a long term uptrend and vindicate the average downers. By the way did you notice that Organiigram made a smart deal in Britain and has gained altitude?
Yes, I have averaged down a number of times now and continue to buy on dips as I can. I have patience, Rome wasn't built in a day, the Cannabis Sector will not be either but it will be worth the wait IMHO.
No, I did not see the Organigram deal. Frankly anything good for one Cannabis Producer will be good for all as it brings attention to these stocks which brings in more investors to the sector.
Ideally we see a number of the tradionally popular stocks like TLRY, ACB, WEED/CGC, VFF and others gain additional ground as the "rising tide will float all boats". I believe we are seeing some of TLRYs recent progress aiding in a lift for others in recent weeks.
IMHO.. the narrative is changing to the better for Cannabis Investors and those who have been holding long simply need to remain patient (as hard as that is for some). I would not suggest averaging down to anyone who has been holding long-term and are worried about it as adding additional funds isn't going to help with their nerves.
