RE:Tilray Brands - U.S. legalization

RE:Tilray Brands - U.S. legalizationIt is cheap with a lot of potential.  Maybe more than the MSOs because the LPs have been beat down exceptionally hard.

I think because of protectionism by US players and the fact that Canada screwed up a lot of things and took or is taking too long to fix those mistakes.

Canada does have secure, inspected cannabinoids in abundance and a legal system in place to foster investment from investors, at least, until the US steps up and takes the heavy penalties that are still on the books in a flimsy kind of a deal for the Feds to let the pro-pot US States, administer their own justice, until somebody at the Fed level decides to make an issue about it.

Despite what Canopy says about them not caring whether SAFE or MORE or whatever bill is put in place, they are waiting for something or they would have rto'd Canopy with Acreage and announced their expansion to the US market.

Tilray seems to be willing to wait it out but are securing bottling facilities with their craft beer acquisitions which means, to me, that they are anticipating a future with cannabinoid infused beverages which their crystal ball has already told them will garner marketshare from soft alcohol skus.

The US needs Federal decriminalization, InterState commerce such that cannabinoids can cross State lines and they need to understand that selling those cannabinoid infused beverages doesn't need their own bar but can be served in already established bar and lounge venues.

One clear set of rules for all of the States would clear up a lot of confusion and be a huge help for potpreneurs of potential to build their businesses into successful ventures by not requiring duplication of services such that potpreneurs have to be tail to snout with all of the moving pieces together in one State.

Medical use has always been the toe in the door that has kept adult rec use alive.  I don't know how it is going to sort itself out but at least the US finally put some laws down that the US scientific community can study and prove the validity of different strains and strengths having proven medical properties.

Pot and cannabinoids are wearing two coats, one as recreational use and one as medical use.  I guess medically certified will fit the same niche as boutique, higher class skus and consumers will pay extra.

A lot of people should check their life insurance policies which has me thinking about getting my medical license for the little that I consume to help with any clause that would disallow a payout to my family.

So many issues to be dealt with to stretch out the full potential for the new legal vice.
