Well the thing of it is me buying Calls doesn't help Short Sellers and that is my point to the fellow. A Call is just a contract for me to take over somone else's shares (the seller of the Call) if when it hits expiry "In The Money", (above the strike price) If it hits the expiry date Out of the Money then it blows up in my own face as the Calls become worth $0.
