Why The Time To Invest In U.S. Cannabis

Even though this is US Tilray has to be considered. Going long!

In Ingrassia’s view, several potential catalysts could drive significant growth in the cannabis industry. The rescheduling proposal by President Biden, the potential passage of the SAFER Banking Act and increased M&A activity as regulations ease are all poised to create a more favorable environment for cannabis companies. Additionally, further state-level legalization, particularly in states like Florida, Hawaii, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania will continue to expand the market.

Therefore, Ingrassia advises investors to consider the long-term opportunity in the cannabis sector. Despite the current frustrations and challenges, the industry is poised for substantial growth, making it a potentially lucrative investment for those willing to look beyond the present volatility.

If USA legalizes MJ federally but doesn't allow imports how does Simon intend to expand into there? If the listings do not change on the exchanges. That is too big of a market to be shut out of.

one way would be to have tilray bought out by a U.S. company so I'll take a $4 billion dollar offer or closer to $3.5 billion would be a nice premium.

another way for tilray to expand in the U.S. is for Canada to become the 51st State. You can't downplay tilray after all they are the largest in Canada and have worldwide sales in brewery and cannabis sales

Just what I figured. Unreasonable answers. This is why the bashers have a field day on this board.

Not sure if you are referring to schedule 3 as federal legalization is not on the table  Tilray already has permits to import without it even being schedule 3. Irwin has already stated they expect to be able to import under schedule 3  Tilray is experienced with prescription based cannabis internationally with already approved GMP facilities.  Tilray can leverage currency exchange / ...more

Simon has also said a lot of things that have not come true or that he has been ill informed on. Sure that's medical. But once rec gets legalized in a State medical sales change. So short term is just that, it's not a long term plan. Then there are those who like to say we'll they already have a alcohol business in the USA. That's still a different business, and they haven't ...more

you can't discount Tilray revenue up 30% and alcohol revenues up 165% and cannabis sales up 33% with international sales up 44% #1 in Canada and #1 in Germany makes Tilray a bargin at these stupid prices

Once S3 goes through Tilray can have their own GMP facilties in the US without affecting their listing. They will already be in the US when / if it becomes legal.   Prescription cannabis is not what is being sold out of a dispensary state level.  Irwin has already stated Tilray is taking a different approach to medical than MSOs in US.  That approach is selling medical the same ...more

You can't seriously be comparing what is happening in Germany to what is happening in the USA.  Not anywhere near the same.
