why an investor would want poeple to buy the shares of the company they've invested in?
It might be because if people buy the stock, the sp goes up and your investment value increases - if people don't buy - or they sell - the stock - your investment value goes down.

This is pretty basic stuff quinlash.

I'd have to say though, two reasons would be because you're a paid promoter and you don't actually have an investment in Tilray.

Cannabis stocks WILL go up with US rescheduling and SAFE - US cannabis stocks that is, neitehr pieces of legislation impact Tilray - so you just go on holding that stock. (if you have stock)

Explain to me why I would want folks to buy?

I noted that I'm holding for US Cannabis Legalization which could be awhile yet. Yes, there could be news out on that within days or weeks but the bigger returns on cannabis stocks will likely be after the US is fully up and accessible.

You have to realize something... While daytrading may appear sexy and the way to go, not everyone does that.
