RE:Experts saying…
TLRY followed the sector in downward trends starting in 2021 when COVID shook the markets and all sectors. It also moved up on updates from the US Fed Gov regarding progressing cannabis legalization.
Other non-related macro level events aided in downward pressure such as the Ukraine war breaking out.
Some companies within the sector are going to survive the markets and go onto be major players within the sector
Tilray has indeed been paying down debt and increasing revenue from both cannabis and alcohol sales and is now looking to acquire another company to aid in US market positioning.
Institutional ownership has been trending up while the SP has been in a downward trend indicating a lack of confidence from retail investors who tend to trade over limited time periods and do so more on emotions rather than research.
This may be insulting to some however the market doesn't care about your feelings

Long position institutional on this stock far exceed the shorts. Short shares far exceed daily volume Shares available for sale in level 2 are no where close to being enough to allow covering without a price increase. It's just time right now, easy enough to add time. Q Long on Tilray
